GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH SAMAGRA SHIKSHA Notification No.01/KGBV/APSS/2025, dated: 25-12-2025

The Samagra Shiksha, Department of School Education is inviting offline applications for the posts of Vocational Instructors, Computer Instructors, Accountant, ANM, head cook, asst cook, day/ night watch women, Attender, sweeper & scavenger in type -III KGBVs and Warden, Part-time teacher, Chowkidar, Head Cook, Asst. Cook in type -IV KGBVs from the eligible woman candidates for filling up of non-teaching posts in 352 type-III KGBVs and 210 type-IV KGBVs located across the State.

The District Collectors shall be given the choice of selecting suitable candidates through “Walk-in -Interviews” for Non-teaching staff vide in Government Memo.No.3048107/Prog.II/A2/2025, Dated:15.12.2025.

The details of the posts are as follows.

Abstract

The details of non-teaching posts in type -III KGBVs.

 The details of non-teaching posts in type -IV KGBVs.

Non - Teaching Vacancies (Type III) :

Non - Teaching Vacancies (Type IV):

Non-teaching posts: Interested and eligible woman candidates only can apply through offline in the respective Additional Project Coordinator offices as per the schedule given below.

Timeline:

Age Limit: A candidate should not cross 45 years of age as on 01-07-2025. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 50 years and in case of differently abled candidates the maximum age limit shall be 52 years. For Ex- service women the maximum age limit is 45 years.

1. Educational Qualifications are not mandatory for the posts of Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Sweeper, Scavenger, Day/Night watchwoman ,Chowkidar and Attender
2. For calculation of age Aadhar card or Date of Birth Certificate shall be considered or 10th class mark list.

Computer Instructors: Intermediate pass (or) Equivalent along with PGDCM (or) its Equivalent Bachelors Degree in Computer Discipline like, B.Com Computers & B.Sc Computers or Equivalent.

Vocational Instructors:

• 10th class pass or its equivalent
• Diploma/Certificate in music or dance, OR certificate in a trade such as sewing, Tailoring, Weaving, etc., issued by any ITI or DLTC.
• Technical Teacher Certificate of Government of Andhra Pradesh

Accountant Qualifications:

• Must possess B.Com /B.Com(Computer) Degree from any recognized university affiliated to UGC.

Warden qualifications:

• Must possess any Bachelor Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.

                             And

• Must possess B.Ed.,/M.A education from NCTE/UGC recognized Universities with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons. 

Part time teachers Qualification:

• Must possess Bachelor Degree with B.Sc. Maths from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.

• Must possess B.Ed.,/M.A education from NCTE/UGC recognized Universities with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.

ANM(Auxiliary Nurse Midwife):-

• Inter and MPHW Course (2Years) by recognized universities.

                    (OR)

• Female Intermediate Pass with ANM Training Certificate from Government recognized institutions.

Medium of Instruction:

• English is the medium of instruction in all KGBVs. However, the candidates who pursued their studies in both English, Telugu Medium are also eligible to apply as per their educational qualifications to the concerned posts.

Note: The candidate should study English as one of the subject up to graduation Level.

District Level Selection Committee:

A committee under the Chairmanship of the District Collector constituted at district level shall take up the initiation for recruitment in their respective districts as per the guidelines issued by the State Project Director, SS, A.P., The committee comprising the following members:

The Rule of Reservation as prescribed in the A. P. State Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 laid under rule 22 shall be followed for every post and cadre duly observing the modifications made in GO. Ms. No. 77, dated: 02.08.2023

1. Since all KGBVs are girl’s educational institutions, hence the rosters earmarked for general candidates should also filled with women candidates of that particular community.
2. All posts which are earmarked for particular community should be filled with the same community only. However, in case of non-availability of candidates in a particular community, then the following system shall be followed for filling of all posts.
3. In order to implement the rule of reservation existing roster point shall be continued. If no roster points are available fresh roster can be started.

Special Guidelines for filling up of all posts:

1. If ST candidates are not available, then the same shall be filled with SC, if SC is also not available, then filled with BC- A,B,C,D,E candidates respectively, if BC candidates are also not available, then the same posts shall be filled with OC candidates.
2. If SC candidates are not available, then the same shall be filled with ST, if ST is also not available, then filled with BC- A,B,C,D,E candidates respectively, if BC candidates are also not available, then the same posts shall be filled with OC candidates.
3. In case of BC-A candidates are not available, then the same shall be filled with the other groups of BC ie.,B,C,D,E respectively and if the candidates are not available in the other group of BC, the then the same shall be filled SC, ST/OC respectively.
4. In case Ex-service women candidate is not available, then the posts can be filled up O.C. candidates.
5. In regard to EWS, if no candidates are available then the posts are earmarked with EWS shall be filled with O.C. Candidates
6. Mandal is the selection unit for filling up of all non-teaching posts in KGBVs

Role of District Level Committee:

In regard to the appointment of Non-teaching staff, the district level committee is the competent authority to initiate the recruitment process in their respective districts.

1. Issue of paper notification at district level as per schedule prescribed by the state office.
2. Preparation of Mandal wise applied candidate list
3. Conduct of walk-in-
4. Date of birth verification for the post of Head/Asst Cooks, Scavengers , Day & Night Watchmen, Attender, Chowkidar & Sweeper as per Aadhar.
5. Registration of the selected candidates names in the APCOS as per the
6. Furnish the list of selected candidates to the state

Selection Criteria:

• First priority should be given to the candidates those who are living in the Mandal wherein the KGBVs are located.

Honorarium:

Non-teaching staff of type –III KGBVs:

Non-teaching staff of type –IV KGBVs:

General Guidelines:

1. All the posts shall be filled up with female candidates only.
2. No person shall be eligible for any post unless she is above 18 years and below 45 years of age as on 1.07.2025. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 50 years and in case of physically challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 52 years and 45 years for Ex-service women.
3. The physically challenged candidates, are not eligible by the nature of these posts
4. However, even after selection, if the performance of the individuals in cooking food, keep surroundings clean and observation of other legitimate duties, submission of wrong information, misbehavior with students, the services of such individual may be terminated at any time without prior notice in this regard.
5. The recruitment shall be conducted as per the newly formed districts
6. The candidates of newly established districts shall apply in their new districts
7. The candidates, who were terminated earlier on disciplinary grounds and on severe allegations are not eligible to apply in this recruitment.
8. The candidates, who wish to claim EWS quota must furnish the income certificate below Rs. 8.00 Lakhs per annum issued by the competent authority.
9. Roster points shall continue from last point of pervious recruitment 2024

Local status:

• The local candidature of the individual shall be finalized as per the details of the Aadhar card only.
• Residence certificate issued by the Tahsildar of concerned mandal.

• All the appointments issued under this notification is purely on outsourcing and temporary basis.
• The individuals do not have any right to seek regularization/Minimum Time Scale/ Enhancement of honorarium.
• The performance of the individual will be measured based on their work and behavior in KGBVs.
• The appointing authority do have right to terminate the un-satisfactory performance candidates at point of time without any prior notice.

Appellate Authority: The District Collector is the Appellate Authority in connection with the recruitment of Non-teaching staff of KGBVs ie., on merit, roster, caste, experience etc.

The State Project Director Samagra Shiksha has all rights to complete the recruitment or cancel the recruitment at any point of time without giving any prior intimation to the individuals and also to increase the number of vacancies or to decrease as well basing on the need in the KGBVs.
