Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a university established or incorporated under a Central, State or Provincial Act, another institution recognized by the University Grants Commission, or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit and Application Fee

Paper I - General Studies and Mental Ability

• International, national and Andhra Pradesh current events
• General Science, Science & Technology and Information Technology
• Indian and AP history, geography, polity and governance
• Indian Economy and planning
• Sustainable development, environment and disaster management
• Logical reasoning, analytical ability and data analysis

Paper II - Hindu Philosophy & Temple System

• Basic knowledge of Ramayanam, Mahabharatham, Bhagavatham and Hindu Puranas
• Temple Agamas: Vaishnava, Saiva and Sakta traditions
• Hindu festivals and classical fine arts of Indian origin
• Vedic culture, Vedas, Upavedas, Upanishads, Yagnas and life-stage dharmas
• Hindu philosophies, cults and major gurus including Alwars, Nayanars, Sankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Madhwacharya and Basava
• Hindu family structure, adoption and succession
• Temple income sources and allocation of Endowment Institution funds under Section 57 of Act 30/1987
• Duties of Executive Officers under Section 29 of Act 30/1987
• Land records, Endowment lands, ROR law and Sections 75-86 of Act 30/1987

Computer Proficiency Test

The CPT syllabus covers computer fundamentals, operating systems, internet and email, office suites, file operations, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and associated office-automation skills. Refer to the notification PDF for the full topic-wise syllabus.
