RECRUITMENT OF MERITORIOUS SPORTSPERSON TO THE POST OF CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA-2025 IN BSF

Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 549 vacancies for the Non Gazetted & Non Ministerial post of Constable (General Duty) in Group 'C" on temporary basis likely to be made permanent in Border Security Force against Sports Quota as per table at Para 2 (a). The posts have AIl India liability and selected candidate can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the BSF Act 1968 and BSF Rule 1969. Application form Of eligible candidate will be accepted through ONLINE MODE only. No other mode for submission is allowed.

భారత ప్రభుత్వ హోం మంత్రిత్వశాఖకు చెందిన బోర్డర్ సెక్యూరిటీ ఫోర్స్ (BSF) 2025 సంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించి గ్రూప్ ‘సి' నాన్-గెజిటెడ్ అండ్ నాన్-మినిస్టీరియల్ కింద స్పోర్ట్స్ కోటా కానిస్టేబుల్ (జనరల్ డ్యూటీ) 549 ఖాళీలకు నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేసింది. అర్హులైన పురుషులు, మహిళ క్రీడాకారులు ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా జనవరి 15 వరకు దరఖాస్తులను చేసుకోవచ్చు.

అర్హతలు: అభ్యర్థులు మెట్రిక్యులేషన్ (టెన్త్) లేదా తత్సమాన విద్యార్హతతో పాటు స్పోర్ట్స్ ప్రతిభావంతులైన క్రీడాకారులు అయి ఉండాలి. గత రెండు సంవత్సరాల్లో జాతీయ లేదా అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో పతకాలు సాధించిన వారు లేదా పాల్గొన్న వారు అర్హులు.
వయోపరిమితి: 18 నుంచి 23 ఏళ్ల మధ్య ఉండాలి. ఎస్సీ / ఎస్టీలకు ఐదేళ్లు; ఓబీసీలకు మూడేళ్ల గరిష్ఠ వయోసడలింపు వర్తిస్తుంది.
జీత భత్యాలు: నెలకు రూ.21,700 - రూ.69,100.
ఎంపిక విధానం: ఫిజికల్ స్టాండర్డ్ టెస్ట్ (పీఎస్), మెరిట్ లిస్ట్ (స్పోర్ట్స్ ప్రదర్శన ఆధారంగా), ధ్రువపత్రాల పరిశీల, మెడికల్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్ తదితరాల ఆధారంగా.
దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు: యూఆర్ / ఓబీసీ / ఓబీసీ (పురుషులు): రూ.159. ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీ/మహిళలకు ఫీజు లేదు.

How to Apply-
- Online application mode will be opened w.e.f 27/12/2025 at 00:01 AM and will be closed on 15/01/2026 at 11:59 PM on BSF Recruitment website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in
- Eligible and interested candidate should apply only through BSF Recruitment website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in Candidate are advised to fill the application form after reading the instructions carefully. The application must be submitted ONLINE only. No application will be accepted offline. Candidature of the candidate who submitted application offline will be rejected summarily.
- The candidate has to upload copy of certificate or document for sports discipline mentioned at Para 2(a) above on BSF Recruitment Website in support of his/her highest medal/position or highest level of participation in the sports achievement mentioned at Para 4(b) on BSF Recruitment website in their profile created on the https://rectt.bsf gov.in before applying for the post, else his/her online application will be rejected during scrutiny.
- APPLICATION FEE & MODE OF PAYMENT- Male candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC category applying for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) under Sports quota should pay Rs. 159/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Nine) only as application fee through the BSF Recruitment website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Fees is exempted for females and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Fee paid by modes other than above will not be accepted and the application of such candidate will be rejected forthwith and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
- If candidates are found to indulge at any stage in any of the malpractices listed below during the conduct of recruitment or thereafter, their candidature for this recruitment will be cancelled:
- Leaving the Recruitment Venue uninformed during the Recruitment
- Assault, use of force, causing bodily harm, misbehaving, intimidating or threatening in any manner with the recruitment functionaries i.e. Supervisor, Invigilator, Security Guard or BSF representatives etc.
- Obstruct the conduct of recruitment/ instigate other candidates not to appear in recruitment
- Making statements which are incorrect or false, suppressing material information, submitting fabricated documents, etc.
- Damaging recruitment related equipment.
- Appearing in the recruitment with forged Admit Card, identity proof, etc.
- Possession of fire arms/weapons during the recruitment process.
- Impersonate/procuring impersonation by any person.
- Attempt to hack to manipulate recruitment data and systems at any point before, during or after the recruitment.
- All candidates who have been called for documentation, PST and DME will bring a clear and legible print out of the online application form submitted by them for the purpose for identification, etc, or else they will not be permitted to enter the venue. The print out will be retained by BSF personnel for office use.
- Candidates to keep sufficient number of same passport size photos submitted with online application form at all stages of recruitment.
- Departmental candidates should submit in original a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of verification of original documents else their candidature will be rejected.
- Verification of original documents will be carried out at the time of documentation stage, therefore candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility in all respect to avoid any disappointment.
- All eligible candidates will be duly informed about the date and venue of the recruitment tests which will be sent electronically in their registered e- mail ID with directions to download their admit cards on BSF Recruitment website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in Therefore, candidates should provide genuine and functional e-mail ID and mobile number at the time of filling online application form.BSF will not be responsible in case candidate forgets his/her login details.
- If a candidate tenders resignation from the post within a period of 10 years from the date of enrolment, for reasons other than joining a position under the Central Government, State Government, or local bodies (with prior cadre clearance), their resignation shall be accepted only upon reimbursement to the Government of either the full cost of training or an amount equivalent to three months' pay and allowances last drawn- whichever is higher. In cases where the candidate has not completed three months of service, the resignation shall be accepted only upon payment of either the cost of training or an amount equivalent to three times the pay and allowances admissible in the month of resignation- whichever is higher.
- Selected candidates shall have to undergo Basic Training and such other courses as prescribed in the Force from time to time.
- These vacancies are not open for physically challenged person or ex-serviceman.
- Candidates should come duly prepared for more than one-day stay under their own arrangements for the Recruitment. No TA/DA will be admissible.
- No correspondence will be entertained from ineligible candidates whose applications have been rejected.
- BSF will not be responsible for any damage/injury to the individual sustained during the course of recruitment process.
- Recruitment in BSF is totally transparent, fair and purely on the basis of performance of the aspirants. No candidate is required to pay any money in cash or otherwise, for recruitment in BSF except nominal application fee or fee for RME. If someone approaches them or asks for money or any other favour they may report the matter to the Recruitment Board or the local police.
- BSF will not be responsible for any postal delay or internet interruptions/computer related problems.

- Mere qualifying all the prescribed test in BSF recruitment does not confer the right to any candidates for selection.
- The candidates will not be considered for recruitment who are involved /convicted/ arrested in any criminal case under IPC or any other Act of the Central Government or state Government.
- The performance of sportspersons shall be done every year. If standard of Sportspersons is not found up to the required level, they will be given an option to merge with combatised GD cadre or to be discharged from service as per rules.
- All disputes and differences, if any, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts with in the territorial limits of Delhi only.
