Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India.
Knowledge of computer operation with English typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
18 years as on 1 September 2026.
30 years as on 1 September 2026, subject to applicable relaxation.
Age Relaxation
- SC, ST, OBC Non-Creamy Layer, Persons with Disabilities and Ex-servicemen: as per Government of India rules.
- Dependants of freedom fighters: up to five years beyond the prescribed upper-age limit.
- Supreme Court Registry departmental candidates: no upper-age limit.
- No age relaxation for candidates working in other Government departments, PSUs or nationalized banks merely on that basis.

If many candidates secure the minimum marks in the objective test, candidates may be shortlisted in a 1:10 ratio against vacancies for the typing and descriptive tests. Candidates qualifying all three tests may be called for interview in a 1:3 ratio.
