Recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees-2025 through GATE-2025

NTPC Limited is India's largest power conglomerate with an installed capacity of 86 GW. Commensurate with our country's growth challenges, NTPC has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total installed capacity of 149 GW by 2032. To fuel its ambitious growth plan, NTPC is looking for promising, dedicated, energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic records to join the organization as:

ENGINEERING EXECUTIVE TRAINEES 2025 in disciplines of

*Electrical (165) I *Mechanical (210) I *Electronics/Instrumentation (125)
*Computer Science/Information Technology (15)

QUALIFICATION:

Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE# with not less than 65% marks, as per respective Institute / University norms (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) - 2025. A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of EET in the respective discipline:

AGE LIMIT: Upper Age limit is 27 years as on last date of online application. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XSM candidates applicable as per Government guidelines.

SELECTION PROCESS

Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2025 and must have qualified in the exam. Candidates shall be shortlisted for document verification based on GATE-2025 performance and organizational requirement, from amongst the candidates who apply against this advertisement in NTPC. Further, the candidates will be extended "Offer ofAppointment" subject to meeting the advertised eligibility criteria. Please note that only GATE marks of 2025 will be valid for EET-2025 recruitment.

జీతం: : నెలకు రూ.40,000 - రూ.1,40,000.

LEVEL / PAY SCALE OF RECRUITMENT:

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 at the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/­(E1 Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption.

PLACEMENT:

The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training. Candidates can be placed, across the country, in any of projects/ stations including Subsidiaries/JVs companies of NTPC.

The incumbents would be posted at projects/stations for shift operation of power plants and will be required to work in shifts (including night shift). Application for the post will be considered as the consent of the candidate to work in shifts (including night shift).

RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:

1. Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category shall necessarily have a valid EWS/OBC­NCL/SC/ST/Disability certificate, as the case may be, from the Competent Authority. Reservations and relaxations for SC / ST / OBC / XSM / EWS/ PwBD candidates will be provided as per Government Relaxations will be extended where there are vacancies identified for SC / ST/ OBC/ PwBD.
2. Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) once filled in the online application form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on. The EWS/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are required to submit requisite certificate in prescribed format of Government of India, from a competent authority issued in the current financial year only. In addition, the age relaxation for Ex-servicemen (XSM) will be as per Government of India norms.

SERVICE BOND:

The selected candidates who belong to General, EWS and OBC categories will be required to execute a service bond of Rs. 5,00,000/-(Rs. 2,50,000/- for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD categories) to serve the company for at least 3 years after successful completion of one-year training.

HEALTH:

Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the NTPC Medical Board/Officer, and their decision will be final and binding. No relaxation in prescribed health standards is allowed. Detailed medical norms are available on the website careers.ntpc.co.in. Hence, all applicants are advised to go through the medical norms before applying. 

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Candidates need to apply online for NTPC EET-2025 on the website careers.ntpc.co.in or visit careers section at www.ntpc.co.in with their GATE-2025 registration number.
2. Candidates will be required to upload all the required documents (as listed under at #9) & enter GATE-2025 registration number during online application.
3. Read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information including the GATE-2025 registration number. After successful application, system will generate a unique application number. Candidates are required to download the application slip and keep the printout of the application slip which will be generated by the system after successful application.
4. Please ensure that the GATE-2025 registration number, which is mentioned on your GATE-2025 score card, is filled up correctly. Name should also be filled up as appearing in GATE score card. No request with respect to the change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the application is submitted successfully.
5. Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the application fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.
6. A. Payment in offline mode: State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC. Candidate must approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the "pay-in-slip" which is available on the application portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online application. NTPC will not be responsible in case the candidate deposits the fee in a wrong account.
7. B. Payment in online mode: Candidate also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form.
8. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee.
9. Uploading of Documents: The candidates should necessarily upload all documents while applying. Applications with incomplete/insufficient documents are liable to be rejected/not considered for further process.

1. Class X Passing Certificate or Marksheet for Name/DOB proof
2. PAN Card (Name & DOB should appear in conformity on all documents).
3. Scanned Copy of original GATE 2025 Score Card
4. Engineering Degree (Final/Provisional certificate)
5. Engineering Final year or Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript clearly indicating aggregate % of marks in all semesters
6. Marks conversion formula from the University/Institute for conversion of marks in CG PA/CG PUDGPA/CG I/CPI etc. into percentage (%). Conversion formula is not required ONLY if the marks are already awarded in percentage.
7. Valid Caste/Category Certificate in the govt. prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD/EWS candidates). a. OBC-NCL certificate should be in central format valid for the FY 2025-26. b. EWS Candidates need to submit valid Income &Asset certificate for the FY 2025-26 based on the income of FY2024-25 in the prescribed central format.
8. Photograph: Passport size with white background not older than 06 months

GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
3. All qualifications should be from an Indian University / Institute recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority. (#AMIE holders will be considered only if enrolled upto 31.05.2013)
4. All computations of age/qualification etc. shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.
5. No manual / paper application will be entertained.
6. Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is false or is not found to be in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
7. The E-mail ID entered in the online application form must remain valid for at least next one year. No change in the E-mail ID will be allowed, once entered. All future correspondence would be sent via E-mail only.
8. Candidates employed with any organization are required to submit relieving letter from current organization at the time of joining, if selected for the said post.
