RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSONS IN SASHASTRA SEEMA BAL Applications (offline) are invited from Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 399 vacancies for General Central Service, Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) Combatised posts of Constable (General Duty) under Sports Quota for the year-2022 in Sashastra Seema Bal, Government Of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. The post is temporary, but likely to be continued. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory of India. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by SSB Act & Rules and other Rules applicable from time to time.

అర్హత: పదోతరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణత. నిర్దేశించిన క్రీడా ఈవెంట్లలో పాల్గొని ఉండాలి. 

క్రీడా ఈవెంట్: ఆర్చరీ, అథ్లెటిక్స్, బాస్కెట్బాల్, బాడీ బిల్డింగ్, బాక్సింగ్, సైక్లింగ్, ఈక్వెస్టియన్, ఫెన్సింగ్, ఫుట్బాల్, జిమ్నాస్టిక్స్, హ్యాండ్బాల్, హాకీ, జూడో, కబడ్డీ, కరాటే, షూటింగ్, సెపక్ తక్రా, స్విమ్మింగ్, తైక్వాండో, వాలీబాల్, వెయిట్ లిఫ్టింగ్, ఉషు, వాటర్ స్పోర్ట్స్, యాచింగ్.

 వయసు: 18-23 సంవత్సరాల మధ్య ఉండాలి..

జీత భత్యాలు: రూ.21700 - రూ. 69100. 

ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ: క్రీడా విజయాలు, రాత పరీక్ష, ఫీల్డ్ ట్రయల్, స్కిల్ టెస్ట్, ఫిజికల్ స్టాండర్డ్ టెస్ట్, డిటైల్డ్ మెడికల్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్, రివ్యూ మెడికల్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్, డాక్యుమెంట్ వెరిఫికేషన్ తదితరాల ఆధారంగా ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. ఎంపికైన అభ్యర్థులు దేశంలో లేదా భారత భూభాగం వెలుపల సేవలు అందించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. 

దరఖాస్తు రుసుము: రూ.100 (ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మహిళా అభ్యర్థులకు ఫీజు చెల్లింపు నుంచి మినహాయింపు ఉంటుంది), 

దరఖాస్తుకు చివరితేది: ఎంప్లాయిమెంట్ న్యూస్లో ఈ ప్రకటన వెలువడిన తేదీ నుంచి 30 రోజుల్లోపు.

(a) A citizen of India, or

(b) A subject of Nepal, or

(c) A subject of Bhutan.

Note:- DG, SSB reserves the right to increase/ decrease, fill or not to fill the vacancies or postpone/cancel the advertisement for the above mentioned post (s), without assigning any reason.

PAY SCALE AND OTHER ALLOWANCES: 

The post will carry Pay Matrix Rs.21700-69100/- (Level-3) as per 7th CPC and other allowances as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions. The selected candidates for the post of CT(GD) under Sports Quota will be governed under Contribution Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme).

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR THE POST IS AS UNDER:

Post: CT (GD) under sports quota

Age: 18 to 23 years (Relaxation in age mentioned at Para No.6)

Essential Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or institute

Sports Qualification:

(i) Players who have represented in any recognized International events representing the country.

Or

(ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship

Or

(iii) Players represented a University in an Inter University competition.

Or

(iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools.

Or

(v) Players awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National physical efficiency Drive.

Or

(vi) Players represented State/Union Territory /University/State Schools Teams but could not win a medal or position.

Note: Sports qualification will be taken on consideration of the participation/achievements by the candidates in the past 02 year (cut off date for determining the eligibility criteria i.e. 30 days from the date of publication of of this advertisement in Employment News) only.

  • The closing date for receipt of applications will be 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News except for the Remote Areas. The last date for receipt of applications for Remote Areas (ie. Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Union territory of Ladakh, Lahaul Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Union territory of Lakshadweep) will be 37 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News, but it will not affect the cut off date for determining the eligibility criteria i.e. 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News. a)
  • D.O.B. and name as recorded in Matriculation certificate will be accepted for determining the age and name. No subsequent request for its change will be considered.
  • The candidate must fulfill all eligibility criteria and must be in possession of all educational/professional/sports achievements and other certificates required for the post, issued by concerned authority till last date of receipt of applications i.e. 30 days from the publication of this advertisement in Employment News.
  • Candidate appearing in the examination/ awaiting result and not in possession of education/ sports certificates till last date of receipt of applications (i.e. 30 days from the publication of this advertisement in Employment News) will not be eligible to apply for the post.
  • DG, SSB reserves the right to extend the date of receipt of applications, without assigning any reason. If the date for receipt of application will be extended, information in this regard will be uploaded on SSB Recruitment website www.ssbrectt.gov.in 
  • All educational certificates and sports certificates other than Central Board/State Board should be accompanied with Government notifications declaring the equivalence of such qualification for service under Central Government.

FEE PAYABLE AND MODE OF PAYMENT: 

Unreserved, EWS and OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred) only being fees (non refundable) through IPO (Indian Postal Orders) & Demand Draft. However, SC/ ST & Female candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

HOW TO APPLY:-

Candidates are advised to go through the advertisement available in Employment News/SSB Recruitment website www.ssbrectt.gov.in carefully before applying for the post.

Candidate will send their applications (i.e. in Annexure-1) for the discipline mentioned at Sr.No.03 above to the authority as mentioned in advertisement along with requisite application fees of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred only) (Non Refundable) in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the officer details given below. The cover containing application must be superscribed in block letters as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF (NAME OF POST APPLIED)-2022".

Enclosures required to be attached with application duly self-attested:

i) Matriculation certificate in support of Name & Age. ii) All Certificates in support of educational qualifications.

iii) Caste Certificates viz SC,ST, OBC.

iv) Certificate for relaxation in height and chest issued by Competent Authority(i.e. District Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar).

v) Domicile/Nativity certificate. 
vi) Sports Certificates related to the event/discipline.

vii) Two recent passport size photographs. 

viii) Application fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the officer and payable at mentioned above.

Note:

i Application received after due date/incomplete/unsigned/without photograph or proper enclosure will be summarily rejected. ii Person serving in Government/Semi Government department should produce" No objection Certificate" from their present employer.

NO TA/DA WILL BE ADMISSIBLE:- No TA/DA or other expenses for appearing in the recruitment tests will be paid to the candidates. The candidates should come duly prepared for a stay of at least one week under their own arrangement at the recruitment venue.

SELECTION PROCESS:-The bio-metric examination, photograph and signature the candidates who report with Admit Card at the recruitment venue will be taken, which shall be followed by conduct of different stages of recruitment process as under.
