Applications are invited from candidates for selection as Apprentice Trainees under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973 at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), for filling up the vacancies of the training year 2026-2027.
The duration of training will be one year from the date of joining and the stipend per month is12300/- for Graduate Apprentices and 10900/- for Technician Apprentices
Interested candidates may participate in the Selection Drive proposed to be conducted at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram and the details are as follows:

భారత అంతరిక్ష పరిశోధనా సంస్థ (ISRO) ఆధ్వర్యంలోని ఉన్న విక్రమ్ సారాభాయ్ అంతరిక్ష కేంద్రం (VSSC), తిరువనంతపురం 2026-2027 సంవత్సరానికి గాను గ్రాడ్యుయేట్, ఇంజినీరింగ్ డిప్లొమా అప్రెంటిస్ శిక్షణ కోసం దరఖాస్తులను ఆహ్వానించింది. అర్హులైన అభ్యర్థులు జులై 25 వరకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.

అర్హత: గుర్తింపు పొందిన బోర్డు/యూనివర్సిటీ నుంచి డిప్లొమా/బీఈ/బీటెక్ (డిప్లొమా ఇన్ కమర్షియల్ ప్రాక్టీస్/ఇంజినీరింగ్ అండ్ నాన్-ఇంజినీరింగ్/హోటల్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ / కేటరింగ్ టెక్నాలజీ)లో ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి.
గరిష్ఠ వయోపరిమితి: 28 నుంచి 35 ఏళ్ల మధ్య ఉండాలి.
స్టైపెండ్: నెలకు గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ అప్రెంటిస్కు రూ.12,300, టెక్నీషియన్ అప్రెంటిస్కు రూ.10,900 వరకు ఉంటుంది.
ఎంపిక విధానం: మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా అభ్యర్థుల ఎంపిక ఉంటుంది.
వేదిక: కార్తీక తిరునాళ్ గవర్నమెంట్ వీ అండ్ జీహెచ్ఎస్ఎస్ ఫర్ గర్ల్స్, మణకాడు, తిరువనంతపురం జిల్లా, కేరళలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన వీఎస్ఎస్సీ పెవిలియన్ను సందర్శించాలి.
ముఖ్య తేదీలు
వాక్-ఇన్ ఇంటర్వ్యూ / సెలక్షన్ డ్రైవ్ తేదీ: 25.07.2026 (శనివారం).
Candidates who have acquired Degree/Diploma before April 2022, those appearing for final year exam, result awaiting candidates or candidates pursuing M.E/M.Tech. are NOT eligible to apply.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973 or having one year or more experience from any institution as Apprentice are NOT eligible to apply. Combining of Apprenticeship with other institutions are NOT permitted.
Candidates who have completed five years from the month and year of passing as specified in the Degree/Diploma certificate or if they cross 5 years after acquiring the qualification while empanelled/waitlisted for engagement, will NOT be considered for Apprenticeship training.
Where a University mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks in its Degree Certificate or Consolidate Mark-sheet, then at least one criteria (either CGPA or percentage) should meet the eligibility norms.
Conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks is not permitted to determine eligibility, regardless of whether any conversion formula is prescribed by the University concerned. The same criteria apply mutatis mutandis in cases where only percentage of marks is mentioned in the Degree Certificate/Consolidated Mark-sheet.
Candidates who are qualified from recognized Universities/State Board of Technical Education coming under Southern Region of BOAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) will be given priority. Candidates from other Universities/State Board of Technical Education will be considered only, in case there is shortage of applications as mentioned above in any discipline.
The details of no. of positions and relevant qualifications are as given below. However, the no. of positions/vacancies may likely to change.
a) Graduate Apprentice Stipend - 12300/-
b) Technician Apprentice Stipend - 10900/-
How to Apply VSSC Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026:
Applications will be received from the candidates only on the day of selection drive on 25.07.2026 as per the above-mentioned instructions. Applications will not be accepted through any other means.
Candidates have to visit the VSSC pavilion on 25.07.2026 at Karthika Thirunal Govt V&GHSS for Girls, Manacaud along with ORIGINAL Documents and self-attested copies of the following Certificates:
- B.E/B.Tech/Bachelor in Hotel Mgmt./Non-Engineering Graduation/Diploma Certificate (Provisional/Final).
- B.E/B.Tech/Bachelor in Hotel Mgmt./Non-Engineering Graduation/Diploma Consolidated Mark list (Provisional/Final)
- SSLC/SSC/AISSE/ICSE certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Experience Certificate (if any) and one passport size photograph.
- SC/ST - Copy of valid Community/ Caste Certificate issued by Tahsildar (Taluk Office).
- OBC - Copy of valid Non creamy Layer Certificate (issued by Tahsildar in prescribed format for Government of India education/job purpose).
- EWS - Copy of valid Income & Asset Certificate (issued by Tahsildar in the Government of India format, for the financial year 2026-27).
- Person with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) - Certificate of Disability issued by competent authority.
- Formats of Non-Creamy layer certificate (for OBC) and Income & Asset Certificate (for EWS) are attached as Annexure 1 and Annexure 2 respectively.
VSSC Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection process:
- The selection will be based on the highest marks scored by the candidates in the relevant examination with due weightage to reservation categories.
- The induction of apprentices against the 2026-27 vacant training positions will be made strictly based on the position in the panel subject to availability of vacancies and panel validity.
